Marla Carriere Jefferson provides leadership in the areas of Finance and Administration Departments. These key departments encompass accounting, finance, payroll, procurement, and human resources. Jefferson has been the office manager/business developer at Hewitt-Washington & Associate, Architects and Planners (APC) for the last six years. Prior to her position at HWA, Marla was Associate Director of Efforts of Grace/Ashe Cultural Arts Center and Administrative Manager for the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), where she managed, planned and directed key operations for these agencies. Preceding her position at NORA, she was an Account Manager for Johnson Controls, Inc. where she managed performance contracting projects for municipalities, higher education and K-12 school systems. Jefferson holds an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix, and a B.S. from Southern University at New Orleans.

Howard Cousin is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. He has 30 years of experience, of which more than 17 of them has been with Hewitt-Washington & Associates.
Prior to joining the company in 1987 and returning in 2011, Cousin has provided knowledge of design and detail in project management, quality control, and construction administration for several construction companies and city municipalities. These companies include Doucette & Associated Contractors, Woodward Design + Build, Housing Authority of New Orleans, Caddmaxx Inc. and Merco Builders Center.

Kiley Lewis has over 17 years of architectural experience. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. Her roles include project management, design, and coordinating the production and issuance of construction documents. In addition, she has been overseen construction administration. Kiley’s project portfolio includes institutional, commercial and retail work in Tennessee, Georgia, California and Louisiana.
